As a Senior Salesforce Platform Developer, you will play a pivotal role within our consulting team, tasked with the design, development, and implementation of tailored solutions on the Salesforce platform for our clientele. Your collaboration with clients and team members will be essential in grasping business needs and converting them into effective technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide and direct the development team in executing design plans.
- Advise on API design for both inbound and outbound integrations, ensuring secure messaging.
- Identify and address potential risks in the design and execution of Salesforce solutions.
- Engage in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to maintain high code quality.
- Uphold standards and ensure adequate test coverage.
- Utilize SFDX, Microsoft Visual Studio, Salesforce Lightning Design System, and the Salesforce development lifecycle for system development.
- Create custom code using Apex, Omniscript, and Lightning Web Components.
- Mentor fellow developers, including those in DevOps roles.
- Stay updated with the latest Salesforce technologies and industry trends.
- Act as a liaison with the Salesforce Product Team regarding the Department's Salesforce solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field; equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
- Proven experience as a Senior Salesforce Platform Developer, adept at analyzing complex issues, proposing viable solutions, and breaking them down into actionable tasks.
- Strong leadership abilities, including mentoring and coaching technical team members.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Apex, Java, JavaScript, as well as LWC and the Salesforce Lightning Design System.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and tools like Scrum, Jira, Git, and Azure DevOps.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams of four or more members.
- Demonstrated development experience with Salesforce Health Cloud.
- Experience with Salesforce Flows and Workflows.
- Familiarity with Salesforce Marketing and Communities data models.
- Experience with Rules Engine Configuration.
- Experience in designing and configuring healthcare applications.
- Experience related to Cancer Screening Specific Programs.
- Knowledge of FHIR and/or HL7 messaging standards.
- Experience with Salesforce integration and web services with cloud platforms like AWS and Azure.
