Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our business operations and technical infrastructure.
  • Design and implement technical solutions to meet business requirements, ensuring alignment with our company's strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize technical projects and initiatives.
  • Lead the development and implementation of technical solutions, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members and other stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement within our organization.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 15 years of IM/IT experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years as a Senior Programmer/Systems Analyst.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience as an Application/Solution Architect.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Demonstrated experience working with Provincial Health Care and Electronic Health Care applications in a Canadian context.
  • Demonstrated experience developing, documenting, coding, testing and implementing technical solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience with large software systems consisting of web interfaces, batch processes, time-based transactions, long running transactions and multiple integration points.
  • Demonstrated experience in architecture where multiple systems and domains must be considered from an enterprise view.
  • Demonstrated experience with system performance analysis and optimization.
  • Demonstrated experience as a.Net developer.
  • Demonstrated experience working with Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Demonstrated experience as a developer with JAVA, Java Script.
  • Demonstrated experience in security relating to data confidentiality and client privacy issues in application design and development.
