We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources professional to join our team at RATESDOTCA Group Ltd. as a People Operations Manager. This is a key role that will play a critical part in shaping the future of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement HR Programs: Design, develop, and implement HR programs that align with the company's strategic objectives, including talent development, compensation, performance management, employee relations, benefits, payroll, and organizational development.
- Provide HR Guidance and Support: Provide expert guidance and support to management and employees on HR-related matters, including provincial and federal laws, human rights legislation, and employment standards.
- Coordinate Performance Management: Coordinate and administer the annual performance management program, including supporting managers and employees throughout the process.
- Manage Employee Relations: Manage employee relations with both management and employees, including employee advocacy, performance and disciplinary discussions, and progressive discipline.
- Support Business Partnerships: Foster strong relationships with management and employees to promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Oversee Leave of Absence and Return to Work Programs: Manage leave of absence and return to work programs, including coordinating with payroll and other departments as needed.
- Administer Benefits and Payroll: Oversee the administration of health benefits and payroll, including ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Education and Experience: Minimum post-secondary education in Human Resources or Business Administration, with a CHRP designation (or in progress) and a minimum of 7+ years of human resources experience.
- Skills and Qualifications: Strong organizational skills, active listening skills, and the ability to identify areas of development and create an action plan. Proven track record in building solid relationships within the organization, with creative problem-solving and coaching skills. Demonstrated credibility, confidence, and a strong client focus.
- Knowledge and Certifications: Working knowledge of federal and provincial legislation, including employment standards, human rights legislation, and ministry of labour. Familiarity with leave of absence management and return to work programs.
