Environmental Laboratory Logistics Manager

Bureau Veritas Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Environmental Laboratory Logistics Manager to join our team. As a key member of our laboratory operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the logistics of sample management, ensuring that our clients receive exceptional service and that our laboratory operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the activities of laboratory staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standard and that our clients receive timely and accurate results.
- Develop and implement effective logistics strategies to ensure the efficient movement of samples throughout the laboratory.
- Collaborate with laboratory managers and other stakeholders to ensure that our laboratory operations are aligned with our business objectives.
- Monitor and analyze laboratory performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to optimize efficiency and productivity.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, ensuring that their needs are met and that they receive exceptional service.
- Provide training and guidance to laboratory staff, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their duties to the highest standard.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve our laboratory operations and services.
- Post-secondary education in a relevant field, such as laboratory science or logistics.
- At least 5 years of experience in a laboratory or logistics role, with a strong background in sample management and logistics.
- Proven track record of success in a supervisory or management role, with experience in leading teams and developing strategies to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with laboratory staff, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to optimize efficiency and productivity.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
