Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Analyst 1 to join our team. As an Analyst 1, you will be responsible for conducting laboratory tests and analyses, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of results, and maintaining a clean and organized laboratory environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct laboratory tests and analyses using various instruments and equipment.
- Ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results by following standard operating procedures and quality control measures.
- Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment, including the proper labeling and storage of samples and equipment.
- Prepare and sanitize glassware and equipment for sample analysis.
- Operate mechanical equipment for sample size reduction and preparation.
- Conduct basic analyses, such as operating balances and meters.
- Maintain updated maintenance records for laboratory instruments.
- Ensure samples are analyzed within specified timeframes and quality standards.
- Provide workstation status updates to the supervisor.
- Maintain control charts as per QA manual requirements.
- Work in a standard laboratory environment.
- Be available for shift work, overtime, and weekend shifts.
- Handle any other assigned duties.
Requirements
- Technical diploma required, Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Understanding of standard operating procedures and instrumental techniques.
