Social Worker 3 Position

Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a highly skilled Social Worker to join our Long Term Care Team in Powell River, BC. As a Social Worker 3, you will play a critical role in providing clinical supports and consultation to all programs in the local area.
Key Responsibilities- Provide consultation, education, and mentorship to staff on complex care planning and clinical guidance.
- Develop decision support tools and policies to improve practice and organizational compliance with relevant legislation.
- Provide consultation, mentorship, and education on abuse, neglect, and self-neglect prevention.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide culturally safe care to Indigenous people, families, and community.
- Develop and implement Support and Assistance Plans, and other Emergency Provision under AGA and coordinates a multisystem support network.
