Social Worker I Position

Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a skilled Social Worker to join our team at Qathet General Hospital in Power River, BC.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical and consultative social work services to clients and families.
- Conduct social assessments, provide counseling services, and maintain records.
- Attend interdisciplinary clinical/case conferences and identify applicable community resources for clients.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality healthcare services.
Requirements- Bachelor of Social Work from an accredited School of Social Work and one year of post-Bachelor of Social Work experience.
- Current full registration with the British Columbia College of Social Workers.
- Basic knowledge of systems thinking, counseling skills, and other health disciplines.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct social assessments, apply systems theory, and communicate effectively.
