About the Role
Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a skilled Social Worker to join our team at Powell River Hospital. As a Social Worker with VCH, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients and provide comprehensive social and psycho-social assessments.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive social and psycho-social assessments to identify client needs and develop effective treatment plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide individual, family, and group counselling services.
- Provide consultative and direct services to clients, families, and community health professionals.
- Prepare and maintain client records in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited School of Social Work.
- Three years of experience working in a psychiatric setting providing treatment services to individuals with complex mental health, addiction, and chronic medical concerns.
- Valid BC Driver's License.
- Current full registration with the British Columbia College of Social Workers.
