About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Operations Senior Analyst to join our team. As an Operations Senior Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of data flowing to downstream applications. You will conduct root cause analysis of data quality issues and propose enhanced workflows to minimize future occurrences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete daily transactional and position controls to prevent or detect data quality issues and coordinate with operational teams for resolution.
  • Perform root cause analysis of data quality issues and propose enhanced workflows to minimize future occurrences.
  • Review and refine existing controls/procedures to continuously improve the quality and ensure clear and concise documentation is created and maintained.
  • Support and perform period closure validations.
  • Control, review, and minimize manual processes and inefficiencies, reduce operational risk.
  • Maintain partnerships with collaborators via periodic working groups to address outlier issues and encourage process improvement.
  • Participate and/or lead initiatives as assigned.
  • Actively contribute to a culture of inclusion and respect within the team and organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
  • Analytical and quantitative reasoning skills.
  • Comfortable in learning new technologies and working in a changing environment.
  • Ability to work effectively and respectfully with a diverse team.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Communication in both English and/or French (verbal and written).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the asset management or financial industry.
  • Experience working in an environment where controls and daily deadlines are required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Apps.
