We are seeking a Senior Financial Operations Analyst to enhance our team.
The Senior Financial Operations Analyst will play a crucial role in managing sales, inventory, and margin strategies that align with our financial objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models and forecasts that guide inventory management, sales projections, and profitability assessments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Merchants, Wholesale, and Marketing, to formulate and uphold an assortment strategy that meets overarching financial goals.
- Prepare and present detailed weekly reports on sales, inventory, and margins for review by senior management.
- Analyze performance trends and adjust in-season plans to optimize sales and profitability while managing inventory levels effectively.
- Maintain and update financial documents, including sales flowcharts and P&Ls, providing insights and recommendations to enhance decision-making.
- Evaluate product category performance against established plans and market trends, offering strategic insights for monthly and seasonal assessments.
- Engage with various teams to inform promotional strategies and seasonal planning, ensuring alignment with financial targets.
- Assist in planning for new product launches and exit strategies, providing analytical support to the planning and merchandising teams.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in retail financial planning.
- Proven expertise in wholesale planning, inventory management, or financial analysis.
- A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Statistics.
- Experience in assortment planning is essential.
- Familiarity with e-commerce and wholesale operations is advantageous.
- Exceptional analytical abilities and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with a strong capability to connect financial outcomes to operational performance.
