Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cook to join our team at Clareville Foods Inc. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, as well as ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, following established recipes and presentation standards.
  • Food Safety and Quality: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Team Leadership: Train and supervise kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and support to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen.
  • Inventory Management: Order supplies and equipment, and maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean kitchen and work areas, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen environment.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
