Job Summary

AFL is seeking a highly skilled Resource Planning Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for planning and implementing the workforce schedule for all projects, ensuring that projects are fully staffed and operational effectiveness is driven.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with management team, technicians, clients, and external vendors to drive operational effectiveness.
  • Analyze and distribute reports on a weekly basis to track project progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Generate specific scheduling and forecasting reports and provide analysis on the data to inform resource allocation decisions.
  • Consistently follow up with internal stakeholders to ensure assigned tasks are being completed as per scheduled inquires.
  • Track all projects from beginning to end and report to the Operations Manager if and when there are any hiccups in scheduling.
  • Work with project owners to negotiate staffing needs and resources.
  • Review and recommend technicians to fill appropriate roles by tracking current availability status and variances.
  • Follow up with upcoming opportunities, make staffing recommendations based on skill-set and availability, and recommend alternative staffing to ensure optimal utilization.
  • Follow up with each technician to ensure their availability is updated in the scheduling system.
  • Participate in local and national staffing calls.
  • Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.

Requirements

  • High School diploma with some office experience, such as clerk or administrator, office administration, or project coordination experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.

Working Conditions

  • Currently remote with the possibility of normal office environment in the future.
  • Monday through Friday, 07:30 a.m. to 04:00 p.m.
  • Some minimal travel may be required.
