Job Overview
As a key member of the Qualico Canada team, the Human Resources and Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to the HR Business Partner for day-to-day administration of recruitment, hiring process, and delivering exceptional customer service to employees. This role will also provide administrative support to the Executives.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and disseminate various Human Resources correspondence, documentation, internal/external communications, and assist with the preparation and submission of reports for the Executives.
- Support the recruitment and hiring process, conduct new employee orientations, and coordinate and maintain HR programs, training sessions, and activities.
- Assist with day-to-day HR tasks, including general inquiries, payroll & benefits administration, and HR projects and other initiatives as required.
- Maintain and update records in the HRIS system and handle confidential business and personnel information with integrity.
- Act as a representative of the Executive to liaise with internal/external stakeholders, assist in developing and refining communication plans, and relay messages from internal and external sources to the Executives.
- Manage executive calendars, scheduling, and arrange meetings, attend these meetings, take and distribute meeting minutes, and follow up on assigned action items.
- Plan and coordinate various company initiatives and events and assist with coordinating site visits by external and internal stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree, Diploma, or Certificate in Human Resources or equivalent.
- Administrative and/or HR-related experience.
- Satisfactory verification of criminal record check.
- Proficient using office equipment, Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint) with advanced abilities working with Microsoft Excel.

Work Conditions
This role primarily works in an office setting during regular business hours. Overtime may occasionally be required.
