We are a reputable law firm seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Paralegal Assistant to join our team. As a Paralegal Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our lawyers and staff in various administrative and legal tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate and up-to-date filing systems, perform data entry, and provide general administrative support to the team.
  • Legal Support: Assist lawyers with research, drafting of legal documents, and other tasks as required.
  • Client Communication: Respond to client inquiries, provide information, and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • Asset Languages: Proficiency in Spanish; Castilian is an asset.
  • Work Environment: Our office is a non-smoking, air-conditioned space located in an urban area.
  • Work Setting: We are a legal firm that offers a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
  • Relocation Costs: We cover relocation costs for the right candidate.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficiency in legal software applications and MS Office.
  • Area of Work Experience: Immigration law.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, organized, and reliable individual with excellent communication skills.
