About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finishing Supervisor to join our team at IM Concrete Finishing Services Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the completion of concrete finishing projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of concrete finishing teams to ensure projects are completed on time and to the required quality standards.
  • Prepare and submit reports on project progress, including any issues or concerns that may arise.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth project execution and timely completion.
  • Train and develop the skills of concrete finishing team members to improve their performance and productivity.
  • Recommend personnel actions, including promotions, transfers, and disciplinary measures, as needed.
  • Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies to support project needs.
Workplace Information

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 40-hour workweek. The work language is English, and the work term is permanent.

  • Support newcomers and refugees with foreign credential recognition and provide mentorship programs to pair them with experienced employees.
  • Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and refugees.

  • Provide cultural competency training and awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
  • Facilitate access to Elders who can offer support and guidance to Indigenous workers.
