About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team at IM Concrete Finishing Services Ltd. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finishes on our concrete projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement to achieve a smooth finish
  • Operate power vibrators to compact concrete and ensure it is properly set
  • Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification to meet our quality standards
  • Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces and protect them from the elements
  • Waterproof, damp proof and restore surfaces to their original condition
Work Environment

This is a permanent, 30-hour per week position with a focus on on-the-job training and development. We offer a welcoming work environment that supports the social and labour market integration of newcomers and refugees, as well as Indigenous people and visible minorities.

Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in concrete finishing
  • No degree, certificate or diploma required
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Language

This position requires fluency in English.
