About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Concrete Finishing Supervisor to join our team at IM Concrete Finishing Services Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our concrete finishing crew.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and lead a team of concrete finishers to ensure high-quality workmanship and efficient project completion.
    • Provide guidance and training to junior staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Project Management
    • Coordinate and schedule concrete finishing activities to meet project deadlines and budgets.
    • Monitor and control project costs, including materials and labor expenses.
  • Quality Control
    • Ensure that all concrete finishing work meets the required standards and specifications.
    • Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address any quality issues.
  • Communication and Teamwork
    • Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
    • Collaborate with other departments, such as estimating and sales, to identify business opportunities and improve operational efficiency.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in concrete finishing or a related field.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Basic math skills and attention to detail.
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 40-hour workweek. The work environment is on-site, with regular travel to various construction sites.
