Perfect Your Craft:

The Chief Pastry Officer will assist the Executive Chef in the daily management of the kitchen's pastry operations, overseeing all aspects including training, quality control, food safety, and staff supervision to ensure the highest standards of culinary excellence.

Required Skills and Experience:

A minimum of 5 years of managerial experience in pastry operations.

Ability to adapt to living in a remote environment.

Proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.

Capability to manage all facets of the pastry operation, including forecasting, scheduling, training, and team motivation.

Ability to coordinate the selection, training, development, and evaluation of team members through effective management and leadership to uphold established cultural and core standards.

Ensuring the correct preparation and presentation of food items consistently through production and demonstration.

Collaboration with the Executive Chef, Food & Beverage Manager, and Restaurant General Managers is essential.

Ensuring compliance with sanitation standards as set by Four Seasons and federal regulations, alongside maintaining kitchen cleanliness and organization.

Maintaining control systems to assure quality and portion consistency, monitoring food shipments to meet established specifications, and fostering an awareness of food preparation and quality.

Active participation in regular operational meetings to ensure effective interdepartmental coordination and cooperation.

Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Experience in resort pre-opening is preferred.

Coordinating personal training to ensure high service levels and productivity.

Anticipating all necessary materials and supplies to ensure their availability.

As a Department Leader, you will inspire and develop your team, leading by example and instilling a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Engagement in Employee Relations activities and programs is expected.

Involvement in identifying and assessing team needs, investing in their career development through effective coaching and training, while embodying our company values.

In interactions with both internal and external customers, you will adhere to the Golden Rule.
