Impact for Breakfast is on the lookout for a visionary Chief Medical Officer to spearhead our mission and shape the future of our organization.

In collaboration with stakeholders and supporters nationwide, the Chief Medical Officer will drive our commitment to empower underserved communities, focusing on enhancing health outcomes and fostering innovative healthcare solutions.

Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, the Chief Medical Officer will work alongside the Board, our partner organizations, and key stakeholders to formulate a strategic plan that aligns with our organizational goals.

With an aim to achieve significant growth, the Chief Medical Officer will establish support systems, build a dedicated team, and develop the necessary infrastructure to facilitate this advancement.

Possessing a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities within the healthcare sector, the Chief Medical Officer will utilize their expertise and strategic insight to position Impact for Breakfast as a leader in sustainable healthcare initiatives.

  • Develop comprehensive business strategies that align with the organization's vision, mission, and core values.
  • Ensure accountability and transparency by implementing systems, performance indicators, and evaluation processes that demonstrate measurable impact.
  • Support the organization's long-term viability and growth beyond initial phases.
  • Provide regular updates to the Board, stakeholders, and the broader community to maintain trust and engagement.
  • Design and execute innovative programs that reflect the organization's dedication to achieving high-impact outcomes and operational efficiency.
  • Leverage advanced technology and digital solutions to improve program delivery, enhance communication, and broaden accessibility.
  • Commit to data-driven decision-making to foster continuous improvement through systematic feedback and thorough evaluation processes.
Community Engagement, Advocacy & Public Relations:
  • Foster strategic relationships with community members, government entities, corporate partners, and supporters.
  • Build and sustain a robust national network that supports and amplifies the organization's mission.
  • Engage with communities to build trust and ensure their involvement in program development.
  • Craft communication strategies that elevate the organization's message and showcase its impact.
Governance:
  • Collaborate with the Board to establish effective governance policies and procedures.
  • Work with the Board and Governance Committee to identify and mitigate organizational risks.
  • Oversee the development and management of shared service agreements for essential functions.
  • Recommend resource allocations that align with strategic priorities.
  • Lead the recruitment, training, and retention of staff and professional services.
  • Promote an inclusive and respectful organizational culture that reflects the organization's values.
  • Prepare for future leadership transitions through effective succession planning.

A high level of cultural competence and sensitivity towards diverse communities is essential for this role.

Experience in collaborating with various communities is highly valued.

Demonstrated success in leadership roles focused on program development and resource generation is required.

Proven ability to build relationships and networks that enhance program visibility and revenue.

Strong track record of leading high-performing teams and managing multiple projects effectively.
