About the Role

The Senior Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Analyst will play a key role in providing in-depth financial insights and supporting forecasting activities for SAPINC Saputo Inc. This position will act as a trusted business partner to various business units, leveraging resources across the organization to contribute to the identification of actionable insights for strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform variance analyses and data validation of periodic divisional reports received by the Corporate team.
  • Participate in divisional monthly calls to validate analysis of results and be proactive in asking questions.
  • Serve as a business partner to the respective divisions' finance teams.
  • Actively involved in the preparation of quarterly and annual public financial reports, including the Management Discussion & Analysis.
  • Participate in the preparation of the consolidated annual budget process and supporting presentation to senior management and the Board of Directors.
  • Help prepare documentation required for external and internal audits.
  • Produce structured analyses and ad hoc reports requested by management.
  • Participate in special projects involving corporate accounting.
  • Participate in the professional development of team members.

Requirements

  • CPA Certification.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated discipline, organizational skills, and attention to detail, as well as an ownership and team-player mindset.
  • Strong communication skills in both spoken and written English and French.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills with MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of SAP and Workiva, an asset.
