Customer Service Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Customer Service Representative to join our team at KAG Canada. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our drivers and customers.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and manage the movement of goods and equipment to ensure timely and efficient delivery.
- Communicate with drivers and customers to resolve any issues or concerns.
- Monitor and manage the fleet's hours of service to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure equipment is available for repairs and maintenance.
- Prepare and distribute loading instructions to drivers.
- Plan and optimize routes for drivers to ensure efficient delivery.
- Verify and confirm delivery instructions with customers.
- Provide support and guidance to drivers on any deviations from planned loads.
- Communicate with the Assistant Terminal Manager to coordinate schedule requests.
- Review and verify the accuracy of routing instructions and delivery confirmations.
- Ensure that all equipment is loaded to maximum capacity and in accordance with instructions.
- Communicate changes to planned orders and update the system accordingly.
- Monitor and manage the flow of mail and keep the system up to date.
- Take customer orders and enter them into the TMW system, providing confirmation to the customer.
- Manage the Driver Pay Portal and provide support to drivers.
- Provide estimated times of arrival (ETAs) to customers and update them on any changes to plans.
- Perform other duties as assigned, such as managing site maps and fuel cards.
- Prior dispatch experience is an asset.
- Ability to think critically and plan ahead to anticipate potential issues.
- Exceptional internal and external customer service skills.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Previous experience in the transportation industry is beneficial.
