About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Specialist to join our team at RONA. As a Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our customers receive the best possible experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist customers with their product requirements and provide personalized recommendations
  • Use effective questioning and listening techniques to identify and qualify customer needs
  • Provide detailed information on our products and services, including features and benefits
  • Book appointments with customers for one-on-one consultations and design sessions
  • Operate computer-aided design software to create customized kitchen and bath designs
  • Source products for customers and prepare special orders
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge and stay up-to-date on promotions and events
  • Resolve customer complaints and objections in a professional and courteous manner
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of kitchen and bath products, including features and benefits
  • Ability to operate computer-aided design software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset
