We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team at Fraser Health. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Adolescent Day Treatment Program, ensuring the smooth operation of the department.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to the program team, including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and coordinating meetings.
- Develop and maintain various systems, such as forms development and filing, to ensure efficient and effective program operations.
- Screen and prioritize incoming materials, responding to inquiries and drafting correspondence as needed.
- Perform receptionist duties, including receiving and directing inquiries to the appropriate staff or area.
- Maintain accurate records, including timekeeping attendance, departmental statistics, and patient records.
- Perform other related duties as required to support the program team.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A Grade 12 diploma and a recognized secretarial program, including a course in medical terminology.
- Three years of recent, related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to keyboard at 60 w.p.m. and operate related equipment.
