Job Summary:

The Executive Chef will be responsible for planning, preparing, and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, as well as training staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in kitchen operations, menu planning, and staff management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Menu Planning: Plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization.
  • Cooking and Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods.
  • Staff Training: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
  • Kitchen Operations: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, and manage kitchen operations.
  • Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding, repetitive tasks, and standing for extended periods.
