- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
This role is set in a vibrant atmosphere typical of a hotel, motel, or resort.
Key Responsibilities- Address and resolve customer inquiries and concerns.
- Prepare and serve specialty dishes directly to guests.
- Present bills and process payments through various methods.
- Describe menu offerings, including daily specials, to patrons.
- Provide recommendations on menu selections.
- Manage cash transactions and maintain accurate sales records.
- Ensure cleanliness of tables, trays, and chairs.
- Welcome guests, present menus, and answer questions regarding food and beverages.
- Serve food and drinks efficiently.
- Oversee the activities of other servers and support staff.
- Take customer orders and communicate them to kitchen and bar personnel.
- Train new staff members.
- Assist guests with special requirements.
- Deliver outstanding customer service.
- Ability to bend, crouch, and kneel.
- Work in a fast-paced environment.
- Capable of handling heavy loads.
- Stand for extended periods.
