Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to lead our team at Food and Beverage Company of Kanata Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management
    • Develop and implement efficient systems and procedures to manage food preparation, inventory, and supply chain logistics.
    • Monitor and control food costs, labor costs, and other expenses to ensure profitability.
  • Team Leadership
    • Supervise and train a team of food service staff, including cooks, servers, and hosts/hostesses.
    • Provide guidance and support to staff to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food products.
  • Quality Control
    • Ensure that all food products meet our high standards of quality, safety, and presentation.
    • Conduct regular quality control checks to identify areas for improvement.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service to our guests, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
    • Address customer complaints and concerns in a fair and respectful manner.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Maintain accurate records of inventory, sales, and labor costs.
    • Prepare and submit reports to management as required.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Skills
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
