About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Analyst to join our team at Fraser Health. As a key member of our Health Informatics department, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and implementation of electronic health information systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Process Analysis: Conduct feasibility studies and determine user requirements for the uptake of electronic health information functionality or systems.
  • Strategic Planning Support: Assist in streamlining business processes and best practices for electronic health information capture and utilization.
  • Business Analysis: Carry out workflow analysis, develop business information requirements and models, and assist in defining business scope and objectives.
  • Health Information Systems Projects: Provide business systems analysis support and may lead small projects.
  • Problem Resolution: Analyze and diagnose health information systems applications and/or business issues and provide resolution.
  • Service Level Agreements: Develop Service Level Agreements between Information Management and assigned business areas.
  • Operational Issues: Assist in resolving any operational issues with health information systems.
  • Health Informatics Goals: Participate in the development, implementation, and evaluation of health informatics goals, objectives, policies, and procedures.
Qualifications
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Health Information Systems Management or a related field plus two (2) to four (4) years' recent related business and systems analysis experience in a medium to large-sized organization.
  • Competencies: Demonstrates the leadership practices of the Fraser Health Leadership Framework of Clear, Caring, and Courageous and creates the conditions for people to succeed.
