Supervising Engineer for OSIM Inspections

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as project manager and structural lead for engineering assignments, ensuring timely completion and quality delivery.
  • Lead transportation structural inspection assignments, conducting thorough assessments and providing expert recommendations.
  • Conduct inspections of bridges and other structures, identifying potential issues and developing effective solutions.
  • Provide recommendations for maintenance and repair, ensuring the integrity and safety of infrastructure assets.
  • Manage inspection projects, coordinating with stakeholders and team members to achieve project goals.
  • Review technical reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Participate in team progress meetings, contributing to collaborative problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Work on project schedules, ensuring timely completion and effective resource allocation.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Applied Science or Bachelor of Engineering degree in civil or structural engineering.
  • At least 10 years of experience in bridge inspections, with a strong understanding of transportation infrastructure.
  • Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) status required.
  • Experience in supervising OSIM inspection assignments, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong computer skills, with proficiency in relevant software and tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience in project management, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
