Job Title: Infrastructure Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager to join our team at QA Consultants. As an Infrastructure Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, developing, and implementing business projects requiring IT solutions on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create detailed project plans, including resources, issue identification, resolution processes, communications, risk management, and status reporting.
  • Ensure business requirements are clear and complete.
  • Plan all project deliverables, including scope, goals, milestones, key success factors, and changes required.
  • Produce project plans to include scope, stakeholder list, schedule, charter, budget, risk, mandatory documents, missions, goals, tasks, and resource requirements.
  • Plan and lead projects throughout the entire project lifecycle.
  • Manage project change requests as needed and resolve project issues/conflicts and breakdown project barriers (escalate when required).
  • Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life cycle.
  • Draft and submit budget proposals and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary.
  • In collaboration with resource managers, provide input/guidance/feedback on the execution of project tasks assigned to project team members.
  • Ensure that all operational support requirements are met and delivered.
  • Lead vendor discussions and negotiations for low-risk procurements, ensure contractual terms and conditions comply with those client's policy.
  • Create project closure document and lead project closure meeting.
Requirements:
  • Designation as a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred but not required.
  • Minimum 5 years direct work experience in a project management capacity, at least 2 years of which delivered IT solutions with a strong focus on projects in infrastructure deployment, application integration, and Enterprise Service Management.
  • Hands-on experience building tools and presentations with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project.
  • Strong understanding of project management lifecycle.
  • Strong knowledge of current IT trends.
