Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Technician to join our team at Illumi. As an IT Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our computer equipment and network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with the IT Director to maintain and troubleshoot computer equipment and network installations.
  • Install and configure POS and networking services for ticketing and sales kiosks.
  • Provide technical support to internal users for computers, peripherals, and the network.
  • Manage inventories, maintenance, and proper functioning of equipment and systems under their responsibility.
  • Oversee photocopiers, fax machines, and printers.
  • Perform data backups for the event.
  • Implement the network between the Event and the Head Office.
  • Assemble and disassemble IT and networking installations at the beginning and end of the event, ensuring communication with service providers.
Requirements
  • College diploma in computer science or a related field.
  • Knowledge of IP telecommunications and mobile phones.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience.
  • Knowledge of VMWare (VSphere) and Apple MAC is an asset.
  • Familiarity with MS Office Suite (XP-2003-2010, 2013, and Office 365).
  • Understanding of wireless products (WIFI).
  • Experience with RJ45 crimping and cabling.
  • Ability to train and assist a user clientele.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Autonomy, resourcefulness, versatility, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work with a variable schedule, including days, evenings, and weekends.
