Job Overview

Under the supervision of the Production Supervisor, the Welding and Assembly Technician is responsible for interpreting welding schematics, executing welding tasks, and assembling metal components in accordance with specified guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret and analyze welding schematics;
  • Execute welding tasks on steel assemblies;
  • Prepare parts through cutting and drilling as required;
  • Conduct self-assessments of completed work;
  • Adhere to production timelines;
  • Uphold quality standards and safe working practices;
  • Comply with health and safety regulations;
  • Maintain a tidy and organized workspace;
  • Contribute to the enhancement of production techniques;
  • Undertake additional related duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

  • Completion of a vocational program in welding or assembly;
  • At least one year of pertinent welding experience;
  • Skilled in MIG welding on steel materials;
  • Capability to perform regular lifting tasks;
  • Proficient in both oral and written French.
