About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team at Blue Aero Job Services Inc. as a User Support Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our clients, ensuring their computer systems and software are running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Respond to clients experiencing difficulties with their computer systems, providing timely and effective solutions to their technical issues.
  • Research and Troubleshooting: Consult technical manuals, guides, and other resources to research and implement solutions to complex technical problems.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to clients on how to use their computer systems and software, ensuring they are proficient in their use.
  • Problem-Solving: Collect, organize, and maintain a log of problems and solutions, providing valuable insights to other technical support analysts.
  • Team Collaboration: Participate in the redesign of applications and software, working closely with other technical support specialists to ensure seamless integration.
  • Leadership: Supervise other technical support workers, providing guidance and support to ensure they are meeting their performance goals.
  • Business Systems Support: Provide support for business systems, networks, and the Internet, ensuring clients have access to the resources they need to operate effectively.
  • Equipment Setup: Set up equipment for clients, ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, and software.
  • Backup and Recovery: Perform Web-server backup and recovery operations, ensuring critical data is protected and easily recoverable.
Requirements
  • Education: A college or CEGEP diploma in a related field, such as computer science or information technology.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a technical support role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Language: Fluency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, with tight deadlines, and repetitive tasks.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, initiative, judgment, organized, team player, ability to multitask, and time management.
