Essential Qualifications:

  • Proficient in welding and mechanical tasks
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Capability to lift up to 50lbs

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience operating Front End Loaders (Cat 980 or equivalent)
  • Willingness to work at elevated heights

Role Overview

We are looking for an Asphalt Plant Operator who will play a crucial role in our operational success. This position involves mixing, pouring, and paving to ensure excellence in our projects. Embrace the challenges of maintaining a high-performance plant, where you will be involved in the daily upkeep, including lubrication and both major and minor repairs.

Your responsibilities will include operating a loader to supply the plant, loading scale trucks, and managing parts inventory. Attention to detail is vital as you conduct daily, weekly, and monthly inspections and maintenance logs. You will collaborate closely with the plant superintendent to ensure smooth operations. Strong communication skills are essential for effective interaction with team members, management, and clients, all while maintaining a safety-first approach to guarantee the highest quality asphalt products.
