The Division of Learning and Teaching Support and Innovation (LTSI) serves as the primary resource for enhancing teaching quality and student academic achievement. LTSI promotes collaboration across the institution to improve educational practices, ensure effective use of learning technologies, and allocate resources to support strategic initiatives focused on innovation and quality in education.
Reporting to the Associate Vice President of Academic Planning, the Director provides leadership and manages responsibilities across various institutional units to further the educational goals and aspirations of the organization. The Director collaborates with academic and student service leaders to directly support faculty, staff, and students in advancing innovative programs, promoting student success, and fostering equity, diversity, inclusion, and community engagement.
The Director will be an active and forward-thinking leader in Learning, Teaching, Support, and Innovation. The ideal candidate will possess a strong and proven background in teaching excellence, with the capability to advocate for and integrate the values of the Division throughout the institution and community. The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in teaching and research related to the scholarship of teaching and learning, along with knowledge of program development and experience in academic administration. Exceptional interpersonal skills are essential, enabling the candidate to inspire innovation and collaboration while addressing the evolving and diverse needs of students, faculty, and staff.
