The Division of Learning and Teaching Support and Innovation (LTSI) serves as the primary resource for enhancing teaching quality and promoting student academic achievement. LTSI encourages partnerships throughout the University to improve educational practices, ensure the effective use of learning technologies, support student success, and allocate resources to align with strategic objectives related to innovation and quality in education.
Reporting to the Associate Vice President of Academic Planning, the Director provides academic guidance and oversees responsibilities across various institutional units to further the educational goals and aspirations of the University. The Director collaborates with academic and student service leaders to directly assist faculty, staff, and students in advancing innovative programs, fostering student success, promoting equity, diversity, inclusion, and enhancing community engagement.
The ideal candidate will be an engaged and proactive leader in Learning, Teaching, Support, and Innovation. They will possess a robust and proven track record of teaching excellence, with the capacity to advocate for and integrate the Division's values throughout the University and its community. The successful applicant will have substantial experience in teaching and research within the scholarship of teaching and learning, alongside knowledge of program development and a background in academic administration. Exceptional interpersonal skills are essential, enabling the candidate to inspire innovation and collaboration while addressing the evolving and diverse needs of students, faculty, and staff.
