The Learning and Teaching Support and Innovation Division serves as the primary resource for enhancing educational quality and student achievement. This division promotes collaborative efforts throughout the institution to improve educational practices, ensure effective use of learning technologies, and allocate resources to support strategic initiatives aimed at innovation and excellence in academic programs.
Reporting to the Associate Vice President of Academic Planning, the Director will provide leadership and manage responsibilities across various institutional units to further the educational goals of the organization. The Director will work closely with academic and student service leaders to support faculty, staff, and students in advancing innovative programs, promoting student success, and fostering equity, diversity, inclusion, and community involvement.
The ideal candidate will be an active and forward-thinking leader in Learning, Teaching, Support, and Innovation. They will possess a robust history of teaching excellence and the capability to advocate for and integrate the division's values throughout the institution and the broader community. The successful candidate will have proven experience in teaching and research within the scholarship of teaching and learning, along with knowledge of program development and a background in academic administration. Exceptional interpersonal skills are essential, enabling the candidate to inspire innovation and collaboration while addressing the evolving and diverse needs of students, faculty, and staff.
