About the Role
The Silver Hotel Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our hotel operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the maintenance of all hotel facilities, including physical, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Supervise and coordinate the work of maintenance staff, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and programs to minimize downtime and optimize resource utilization.
- Conduct regular inspections of hotel facilities to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of maintenance services.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and standards.
- Provide training and guidance to maintenance staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
Requirements
- Technical experience in a recognized trade, with a strong understanding of building maintenance and operation.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think creatively and make sound decisions.
- Detail-oriented with outstanding organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining composure and objectivity in the face of challenges.
