About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Cleaning Supervisor to join our team at Veria Building Maintenance Inc. As a Cleaning Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the cleaning operations of our facilities and ensuring that our high standards of cleanliness and safety are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire and Train Cleaning Staff: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of cleaning staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Inspect Facilities: Conduct regular inspections of our facilities to identify areas that require attention and ensure that our cleaning standards are being met.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules for the cleaning staff to ensure that our facilities are cleaned efficiently and effectively.
  • Assist with Cleaning Tasks: Assist the cleaning staff with their duties as needed, including tasks such as washing windows, walls, and ceilings, and disinfecting operating rooms and other areas.
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Supervise and coordinate the activities of the cleaning staff to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Work Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a cleaning or facilities management role.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken in this role.
  • Work Setting: This role is based in a cleaning service company.
