About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cleaning Supervisor to join our team at MCC Maintenance Inc. As a Cleaning Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our cleaning services, ensuring that our facilities are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Cleaning Activities

Lead and manage a team of cleaning staff to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Inspect Sites and Facilities

Conduct regular site inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure that our facilities meet our high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Recommend Additional Services

Identify opportunities to improve our cleaning services and recommend additional services such as painting, repair work, or renovations to our facilities.

Maintain Financial Records

Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including receipts and invoices for cleaning services.

Assist Cleaners in Performing Duties

Provide guidance and support to our cleaning staff to ensure that they have the necessary tools and resources to perform their duties effectively.

Establish Work Schedules

Develop and implement work schedules to ensure that our cleaning services are delivered efficiently and effectively.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in the cleaning industry

Work Environment

Dusty and dirty work environments

Work Setting

Commercial facilities, residential properties, and cleaning service companies

Physical Capabilities

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and with tight deadlines

Personal Suitability

Dependability, flexibility, initiative, judgement, and reliability
