About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cleaning Supervisor to join our team at MCC Maintenance Inc. As a Cleaning Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the cleaning operations of our facilities and ensuring that they are maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Cleaning Activities

You will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of our cleaning staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet the cleaning needs of our facilities.

Inspect Sites and Facilities

You will be responsible for inspecting our sites and facilities to ensure that they are safe and clean, and that our cleaning standards are being met.

Recommend Additional Services

You will be responsible for recommending additional services required to maintain our facilities, such as painting, repair work, or replacement of furnishings and equipment.

Maintain Financial Records

You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, including receiving payment for specialized cleaning jobs.

Assist Cleaners in Performing Duties

You will be responsible for assisting our cleaners in performing their duties, including establishing work schedules and ensuring that they have the necessary tools and equipment to do their job.

Requirements
  • Education

You will need to have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Work Site Environment

You will need to be able to work in a dusty and dirty environment.

Work Setting

You will need to be able to work in a variety of settings, including commercial facilities and residential areas.

Tasks

You will need to be able to perform a variety of tasks, including supervising and coordinating cleaning activities, inspecting sites and facilities, and recommending additional services.

Supervision

You will need to be able to supervise and coordinate the activities of our cleaning staff.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

You will need to be able to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and with tight deadlines. You will also need to be able to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing for extended periods and bending, crouching, and kneeling.

Own Tools/Equipment

You will need to have your own steel-toed safety boots and gloves.
