Position Overview: Kelly Services is seeking a skilled Logistics Manager to oversee and enhance the logistics operations for a prominent ecommerce client. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, systematic, and adept at ensuring that inventory is efficiently managed across a global network of warehouses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee logistics operations and processes to meet cost-effective and timely goals.
  • Manage outbound logistics to distribution centers across North America.
  • Establish and monitor team performance metrics.
  • Ensure optimal inventory levels are maintained within the warehouse network to meet logistics targets.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to transportation and logistics systems.
  • Conduct comprehensive analyses of logistics operations for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Build and sustain a logistics network that includes suppliers, storage facilities, and transportation partners.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business Administration, Logistics, Engineering, or Supply Chain Management.
  • 5-10 years of experience in logistics management.
  • Experience with cross-border shipping is essential.
  • Certification as a Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) is a plus.
  • Proficient in managing a global supply chain.
  • Strong understanding of logistics principles and transportation methods including air, rail, sea, and road.
  • Familiarity with government regulations affecting logistics operations.
  • Experience in capacity planning and demand management.
  • Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is advantageous.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively while demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite.
