About the Opportunity:

Reporting directly to the Supply Chain Manager, you will play a crucial role in facilitating logistics operations to ensure the seamless distribution of our product offerings.

Main Responsibilities:

Logistics:

  1. Facilitating communication between third-party logistics providers and internal teams;
  2. Coordinating Less Than Truckload (LTL) and Full Truckload (FTL) shipments with carriers;
  3. Supporting the sales department by generating load plans and shipping estimates;
  4. Managing rate approvals and new shipping lanes with freight auditing partners;
  5. Conducting audits of freight invoices and managing approvals;
  6. Overseeing inventory transfers between third-party warehouses;
  7. Following up on lost or refused shipments;
  8. Coordinating customs documentation submissions;
  9. Addressing any customs-related challenges;
  10. Analyzing data for reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) and other assigned projects;
  11. Assisting with shipping logistics for trade exhibitions;
Reverse Logistics:

  1. Generating Return Authorization (RA) documentation;
  2. Monitoring the status of open RAs;
  3. Providing freight quotes and shipping documentation for product returns;
  4. Completing and tracking claims for returned freight;
Trade Compliance:

  1. Reviewing shipping documents for accuracy in pricing and quantity, ensuring compliance with customs regulations;
  2. Maintaining a database of Harmonized System (HS) codes for various products;
  3. Keeping records of imports and exports for drawback programs;
  4. Submitting Duty/Tariff Drawback claims by reviewing import and export documentation for accuracy;
What We Are Looking For:

  1. A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in a similar role;
  2. Post-secondary education in Supply Chain Logistics and customs compliance;
  3. Experience with outbound logistics and cross-border transportation to Canada and the US;
  4. Prior experience in supply chain management and customs clearance;
  5. Familiarity with the duty drawback process is advantageous;
  6. Proficient computer skills, particularly in Excel;
  7. Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle or Netsuite is a plus;
  8. Strong multitasking and time management abilities;
  9. Capability to manage multiple orders and tasks simultaneously;
  10. Excellent analytical, data processing, and problem-solving skills;
  11. Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities;
  12. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse personalities;
  13. Capacity to work under tight deadlines in a dynamic environment;
  14. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and prioritize tasks effectively;
