Position Overview: Material Supply Coordinator
This role will be under the supervision of the Senior Procurement Manager, collaborating closely with the supply planning team to ensure a seamless flow in the supply chain for glass bottles. The selected candidate will offer expertise and direction on optimal practices, template creation, and process enhancements related to supply planning and inventory replenishment.
Key Responsibilities
- Background in material supply planning, particularly in packaging, with a preference for candidates experienced in beverage glass and aluminum can supply.
- Experience in comprehensive supply chain management is advantageous.
- Involvement in procurement and financial forecasting.
- Sourcing of packaging materials while maintaining communication with manufacturing facilities across various regions.
- Planning for raw materials supply including glass, packaging components, and labels.
- Experience in beverage procurement and bottling processes.
- Basic understanding of logistics, particularly inbound freight operations.
- Procurement experience that supports diverse stakeholder needs.
- Management of 5-6 suppliers, ensuring effective communication with key packaging vendors and providing ongoing forecasts to facilitate vendor-managed inventory.
- Assisting in the development of inventory strategies.
- Managing master data to maintain accurate product bills of materials.
- Possessing strong analytical abilities along with a comprehensive perspective.
- Utilizing Oracle as an MRP tool, extracting data from Oracle ERP to create a materials requirements plan.
- Performing additional duties as needed.
