Job Overview:

Join Ecolab's dynamic sales team as a Hospitality Territory Sales and Service Manager . This role focuses on the vibrant downtown Toronto area and its surroundings. As part of our leading Institutional division, you will engage in outside sales, offering a range of chemical products and tailored solutions to meet the diverse needs of clients in the foodservice and hospitality sectors. After completing a comprehensive training program, you will inherit a well-established customer base, including restaurants, hotels, educational institutions, long-term care facilities, and more. You will represent Ecolab, delivering expert recommendations on advanced cleaning and sanitation practices that enhance guest experiences and foster cleaner, safer, and healthier environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance sales within an existing territory of foodservice and hospitality accounts by providing training, regular service, and sales demonstrations.
  • Engage in cold-calling and prospecting to secure new accounts, effectively building Ecolab's brand presence in your market.
  • Understand customers' warewashing systems and develop customized solutions as their expert in advanced cleaning and sanitation processes.
  • Utilize your mechanical skills to install, repair, and maintain warewashing, laundry, and dispensing equipment, strengthening customer relationships through service.
  • Ensure customers' facilities operate smoothly and that their teams are well-trained in safe equipment usage.
  • Adapt your schedule and working hours to align with the business needs of your customers.

Position Details:

Coverage Area: Downtown Toronto and surrounding regions
Weekend Emergency Coverage: Once every 9 weekends
Overnight Travel: None

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School diploma required; post-secondary education preferred.
  • At least one year of outside sales experience.
  • Willingness to be on call during off-hours and weekends.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to travel to the US for training and meetings.
  • Proof of Covid Vaccination may be required based on client site requirements.
  • No immigration sponsorship available.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Frequent manipulation of heavy items, equipment, and appliances.
  • Regular bending, stretching, twisting, and climbing, including working on ladders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in business-to-business commercial sales.
  • Relevant experience in foodservice, laundry, housekeeping, hospitality, or pool and spa sectors.
  • Mechanical problem-solving skills (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or mechanical experience).
