Wood is seeking a dedicated Civil Engineer to enhance our team within the Oil & Gas sector. This role is based in our Edmonton office and requires a proactive individual with extensive expertise in Civil Engineering and Design, particularly in an EPC environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Must hold a Professional Engineer registration in the province of Alberta.
  • Bring five (5) to ten (10) years of progressive experience in civil engineering and design within the oil and gas sector, ideally in an EPC(M) context.
  • Demonstrate expertise in earthworks, site grading, road construction, and drainage systems.
  • Exhibit the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively.
  • Show strong technical writing capabilities, with experience in drafting correspondence, reports, and proposals.
  • Possess effective verbal communication skills, including presentation, facilitation, and active listening.
  • Work effectively both independently and within a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Proficiency in Civil 3D modeling and AutoCAD drafting is considered an asset.
