Position Overview

As a key member of our team at Associated Engineering, you will play a crucial role in the development and oversight of transportation projects. Your expertise will contribute to ensuring the successful execution of urban roadway and highway construction initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize your Civil Engineering Technology diploma to support project execution.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of urban roadway and highway construction, leveraging your 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders, particularly with Alberta Transportation and City of Calgary projects.
  • Implement effective traffic accommodation strategies while adhering to jurisdictional guidelines.
  • Proactively identify and address field issues, offering solutions to Project Managers and Designers.
  • Employ your skills in computer-aided design and drafting, with a focus on roadway projects.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in roadway design utilizing AutoCAD and Civil 3D software.
  • Assist in estimating, preparing tender documents, and managing contract administration.
  • Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills to facilitate collaboration.
  • Apply your problem-solving abilities to navigate challenges efficiently.
  • Work independently while being a committed team player.
  • Maintain a valid driver's license and be open to travel within Canada.
