We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our team at Associated Engineering. As a key member of our water and sanitary infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing and constructing stormwater drainage, water transmission, and sanitary sewer collection projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and construct stormwater drainage, water transmission, and sanitary sewer collection projects in both brownfield and greenfield settings.
  • Apply government and industry design, standards, specifications, regulations, and guidelines for water and sanitary infrastructure design and construction.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Manage timelines and organizational skills to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Contribute to a caring culture for both clients and teammates.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in civil engineering from an accredited university.
  • Registered, or eligible for registration, as a Professional Engineer with APEGA within six months of hire.
  • 5+ years of civil engineering experience with an emphasis on water and sanitary infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Microstation, Microsoft Office Suite, and VisiSpecs.
  • Familiarity with water management software such as PCSWMM, MIKE, HEC-RAS, or Infoworks is considered an asset.
