Your role in our success:

As a Business Development Specialist at Sonovision, you will play a crucial role in propelling our business growth and communicating our unique value proposition to both new and existing clients. Your involvement will span various dynamic projects across sectors such as aerospace, defense, transportation, and energy. Key responsibilities include:

  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business prospects. Formulate and implement strategic plans to meet sales objectives and broaden market presence.
  • Client Engagement: Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with key decision-makers and influencers among prospective and current clients. Grasp their needs and challenges to effectively position our technical services.
  • Solution Selling: Tailor solutions to align with client requirements and distinguish our offerings from competitors.
  • Market Intelligence: Remain informed about industry trends, market changes, and competitive actions. Utilize market insights to uncover potential opportunities and mitigate risks.
  • Proposal Development: Collaborate with technical teams to create compelling proposals, presentations, and bids that align with client expectations and our company's capabilities.
  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate agreements and finalize deals to achieve sales targets.
  • Sales Pipeline Management: Oversee the sales pipeline, monitor progress against targets, and provide accurate sales forecasts. Implement effective sales strategies to ensure continuous pipeline growth.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: A proven track record (2+ years) in B2B sales within the aerospace and defense sector, ideally in technical services or solutions sales. Experience with complex sales cycles and large accounts is highly desirable.

Skills:

  • Fluency in English is mandatory; bilingual proficiency in French is preferred.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of technical services in aerospace and defense.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
