Your role within the organization:

As a Business Development Specialist at Sonovision, you will play a crucial role in propelling our business growth and communicating our unique value proposition to both new and existing clients. This position involves engaging in a variety of dynamic projects across sectors such as aerospace, defense, transportation, and energy. Your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business avenues. Formulate and implement strategic plans to achieve sales objectives and broaden market presence.
  • Client Engagement: Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with key decision-makers and influencers among prospective and current clients. Grasp their needs and challenges to effectively position our technical services.
  • Solution Selling: Tailor solutions to meet client specifications and distinguish our offerings from competitors.
  • Market Intelligence: Remain informed about industry trends, market changes, and competitive actions. Utilize market insights to uncover potential opportunities and mitigate risks.
  • Proposal Development: Collaborate with technical teams to create compelling proposals, presentations, and bids. Ensure alignment of proposals with client expectations and company capabilities.
  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate agreements and finalize deals to meet sales targets.
  • Sales Pipeline Management: Oversee the sales pipeline, monitor progress against targets, and provide accurate sales forecasts. Implement effective sales strategies to ensure continuous pipeline growth.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: Demonstrated success (2+ years) in B2B sales within the aerospace and defense sectors, preferably in technical services or solutions sales. Experience with complex sales cycles and large accounts is highly advantageous.

  • Fluency in English is required; bilingual proficiency in French is preferred.
