Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Specialist to join our team. As a Business Development Specialist, you will be responsible for working with business owners to prepare their businesses for sale, identifying key value drivers, and recommending strategies to increase value. You will also be responsible for marketing businesses confidentially to a wide audience, preparing offers, and advising both buyers and sellers throughout the transaction process.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with business owners to prepare their businesses for sale, including conducting business valuations and identifying key value drivers
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract potential buyers
- Prepare and present offers to business owners, advising on the best course of action
- Assist with due diligence and closing documents, providing guidance and support to accountants and lawyers
- Work with buyers to arrange financing and ensure a smooth transition of ownership
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in business, including experience in mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, or a related field. You will also need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
